Healthcare providers managing intensive care units, imaging departments and clinical laboratories are increasingly investing in smart hospital systems to improve interoperability and operational efficiency. At World Health Expo 2026 (WHX 2026) and WHX Labs 2026—the rebranded editions of Arab Health and Medlab Middle East—Mindray presented its Smart Hospital Ecosystem and introduced new products across emergency care, ultrasound imaging and critical care.

The exhibition, held in Dubai, highlighted system-level integration across hospital departments, supported by digital connectivity and AI-enabled clinical workflows.

Integrated Smart Hospital Ecosystem
Mindray formally introduced its Smart Hospital Ecosystem, designed to enable interoperability between ICUs, operating rooms, imaging departments and general wards. Central to the concept are its M-Connect solutions—M-Connect, MiCo+ and Mindray Innolab—which facilitate cross-department data exchange and imaging connectivity.

These platforms integrate clinical data streams, imaging outputs and monitoring information into unified digital environments. The objective is to reduce information silos and enable faster, evidence-based clinical decisions in high-acuity settings.

The approach aligns with increasing hospital adoption of digital health infrastructure, where equipment connectivity and centralized data access support workflow coordination and resource optimization.

Emergency Care and Ultrasound Product Debuts
At WHX 2026, Mindray introduced two automated external defibrillators, AED L1 and AED L2, aimed at strengthening public-access emergency response networks.

In diagnostic imaging, the company presented the global debut of the Recho I10 and Nuewa I10 ultrasound systems. These next-generation platforms integrate intelligent imaging features designed to enhance workflow efficiency and image acquisition consistency across clinical settings.

By combining advanced hardware with digital connectivity, these systems are positioned to support broader telemedicine and remote consultation use cases.

Smart ICU Integration for High-Acuity Care
For critical care environments, Mindray demonstrated its Smart ICU solution, integrating:
  • BeneVision V Series patient monitors
  • MRV Pod wireless parameter module
  • SV900 ventilator
The integration enables synchronized patient monitoring and respiratory support within intensive care settings. Wireless parameter modules allow greater patient mobility while maintaining continuous data transmission to centralized monitoring systems.

Such interoperability is particularly relevant in high-acuity environments where rapid physiological changes require coordinated monitoring and ventilation management.

Laboratory Automation and IVD Smart Ecosystem
At WHX Labs 2026, Mindray presented its IVD Smart Ecosystem and full laboratory automation solution. The platform integrates reagent management, sample handling, workflow coordination and reporting within a single digital framework.

Full laboratory automation supports higher sample throughput while maintaining standardized quality control processes. The system has already been deployed in Romania, Jordan and Thailand, demonstrating scalability across diverse healthcare systems.

Automation at this level reduces manual intervention, shortens turnaround times and enhances traceability—critical factors in high-volume clinical laboratories.

Cross-Border and Regional Collaboration
Mindray also highlighted deployments supporting telemedicine and regional connectivity. In Saudi Arabia, the Ministry of Health’s SEHA Virtual Hospital network connects 224 healthcare facilities and has provided telemedicine services to more than 480,000 patients. Imaging connectivity solutions enable remote consultation and standardized clinical guidance across distributed facilities.

International collaboration examples included cross-border transplant support enabled by smart hospital infrastructure in Shanghai, illustrating how digital integration can extend specialized expertise beyond a single institution.

By presenting integrated emergency, imaging, ICU and laboratory solutions at WHX 2026 and WHX Labs 2026 in Dubai, Mindray emphasized a system-level approach to smart hospital systems—where connectivity, AI-enabled workflows and automation are combined to support coordinated, data-driven healthcare delivery.
