Philips, Securitas, and Medic Assist Unite for Heart-Safe Communities

Philips, a global leader in health technology, Securitas, the world-leading safety and security solutions partner, and Medic Assist GmbH, a leading innovative global service provider specializing in AEDs, announced a strategic partnership to integrate Philips Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) into Securitas’ guarding and security solutions.

This collaboration will enable Securitas’ security personnel, trained in CPR and AED use, to respond quickly and effectively to sudden cardiac arrests. Cardiac arrest is one of the most critical medical emergencies. Through this offering, Securitas aims to provide its clients and the communities they serve with more ‘heart-safe’ places, where life-saving help is within reach and commits to our shared purpose of helping to make the world a safer place.

Together, the companies aim to improve survival chances during cardiac emergencies and raise awareness of the importance of CPR and early defibrillation.
