MIPS becomes Clinisys - full speed ahead in 2023
After the combination of Sunquest Information Systems, HORIZON Lab Systems and Apollo LIMS under the Clinisys brand in October 2022, the new Clinisys is starting the new year full of enthusiasm. The consolidation started in 2005 with the merger of MIPS with the Clinisys Group. The current completion marks a new chapter for Clinisys, expanding its global presence and breadth of expertise significantly.
With over 3,000 customers in 34 countries, Clinisys is now one of the largest information systems providers for laboratories globally across healthcare, life sciences, and public health.
Clinisys has more than 40 years of interdisciplinary expertise in providing Laboratory Information Systems (LIS) and offers its customers solutions to support laboratory workflow optimised for clinical chemistry, microbiology, pathology, molecular genetics and order and result management.
The name changes – the passion remains
Even though the company name changes, Clinisys still offers the same world-class service and support, the same specialization and expertise, and the same end-to-end solutions for the highly complex needs of the laboratory. The proven expert contacts remain unchanged and continue to provide the usual competence and passion for the success of customers and partners. Clinisys strives to attract and develop the best talent in the industry: with currently more than 1,450 qualified laboratory professionals, Clinisys supports around 3,000 laboratories worldwide. The company's laboratory solutions are used in 22 specialized research and testing disciplines across nine industries.
Proven service for customers and partners
Regardless of the name change, Clinisys can still be reached on the usual telephone numbers and remains a stable and reliable supplier for customers and business partners. For existing customers, the combination of the new businesses will not affect the existing products and services provided to them, which will now be delivered to them using the new Clinisys brand. “As we look to the future, we will continue to invest in our core products and solutions from each of the combined businesses, as part of our long-term integrated Clinisys Laboratory Platform strategy.
